Use SEO-Friendly URLs

Use high quality and original content

Try having at least 1% keyword density

This means priority must be given to high quality relevant content writing rather than haphazard keyword phrase insertion.

Use H1 tags properly

These are the headlines of your content and they must have proper use of your keywords without over using them. Therefore, do make sure the title of your content has been embedded with proper H1 tags.

Have a responsive design

Today, mobile friendly sites are the trends which is likely here to stay for a very long time. This is probably due to the increasing number of users exploring sites from different devices. Another thing, Google also considers a responsive design as one of the factors when ranking the site. Thus, if you are making a new site, do not forget to make it responsive to appeal to both the search engines and users.

Take your site speed into consideration

Page loading speed is an important SEO ranking factor so do take time to analyse your site’s speed. For increasing the speed, you can use quality hosting, CDN and compressing images more and more. Lastly, make sure your site doesn’t take more than 4 seconds to load.

Use proper multimedia

Infographics are a great way of catching the attention of your users. You can try making your page more informative and exciting to read by using proper and engaging images, videos and diagrams. This can significantly reduce bounce rate and increase users’ stay on the page for a significant time.

Optimise your images properly

It is very important to get all the relevant image headings for all the images in your site. You need to  include your target keyword on at least one image file and provide proper target keyword for your image Alt Text.

Place social sharing buttons

Even though this may not have much of a role in ranking your webpage but social shares are something to consider. Because it can increase the reach of your webpage and increase the traffic to your site significantly. The more social share your page gets the more likely someone will link to your page so don’t hesitate to place social sharing buttons on your site.
